Cyberabad Police discuss on resolving traffic issues in IT Corridor

Hyderabad:In view of finding a permanent solution to the existing traffic scenario in the IT sector, Commissioner of police, Cyberabad VC Sajjanar presented a power point presentation to heads of the major IT companies today at Hotel Trident. In the meeting the company heads were appraised of the current challenges traffic management in the IT sector and reviews were invited in finding a solution to address the challenges. The participating company heads expressed their ideas and suggestions deal with various aspects of managing the traffic in the IT sector.
Promotion of public transport system, carpooling system, development of wide road network for the area, provision for seamless pedestrian movement through proper infrastructure in the area, development of proper junctions with pedestrian infrastructure, motion of common mass transport facilities across the IT sector, provision for transit centres etc. were some of the major suggestions received from the company heads.
Also, the participants expressed their views proposed staggered logout timings for the employees the employees to ease traffic situation on roads during heavy rains and it was agreed to build a permanent mechanism effectively utilise this alternative solution emergency situations.
A common communication portal of the Facility Heads of all the IT Companies to be developed to communicate the emergency Alerts among all the IT companies Employees.
There will be three levels of alerts issued by the GHMC & Traffic Police and the third level Alert should be shared across all the IT Employees.
Commissioner urged the IT Companies to encourage Traffic Volunteering as it helps better Communication Flow and handling the Emergency Traffic Issues on the Roads. mohammedhussain.reporter@gmail.com
