MUMBAI: Shiv Sena politician and Saamna editor Sanjay Raut on Saturday said that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) should be opposed and that Daro mat (don’t be afraid) is the lesson Maharashtra has taught the country.” Jo darr gaya so mar gaya Addressing a CAA meeting in Mumbai organized by Jamaat e-Islamic Hind, the Rajya Sabha MP using the popular Bollywood dialogue “Jo Dar Gaya so mar Gaya” , asserted the Muslims that his party is firmly against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) because when it is clubbed with the National Register of Citizens (NRC) , it is against Hindus too.

“ Maharashtra has shown the way to the country. The country is our religion. We all should be united, and this is what they (the BJP ) are afraid of,” said Raut, according to news agency PTI .
