Hyderabad: The Rachakonda SHE team police booked as many as 48 cases were booked in the month of August. The 48 cases include 16 FIRs, 27 petty cases and 5 counseling.
The SHE TEAMS also arrested 45 eve teasers, including 8 minors. All the eve-teasers have attended the counseling session conducted at the commissioner’s camp office in Nagole along with their family members.
The SHE Teams helped women in need and were able to arrest men who were harassing them on various pretexts. In one of the cases, a 25-year-old married woman was being harassed by a manager in her work place at Yadagirigutta.
The manager reportedly asked the woman for sexual favours despite she warning him to behave himself. Based on the woman’s complaint, the man was arrested and a case registered a case against him. The SHE Teams undertook Decoy operations to nab theoffenders.
