Hyderabad : The officials of CISF found 3,50,375 UAE Dirhams worth about Rs 67.65 lakh in the hand baggage of a passenger at the city RGI airport on Sunday night.
The money was during the preembarkation security check at the security hold area of RGI Airport.
The CISF personnel detected 3,50,375 UAE Dirhams via a scanner in the hand baggage of a passenger.
The passenger was later identified as Md. Ali Khan, with an Indian passport, who was to travel to Dubai from Hyderabad via an IndiGo flight. Upon enquiry, the passenger could not produce valid documents for the cash, following which he was detained for questioning.
