Hyderabad: Husband defames wife on social media, held

Hyderabad: In the era of the social media boom, many people are using it to settle their personal conflicts. This trend has reached to such an extent that even close relatives are using social media to settle their scores.
In one such incident, a 30-year-old man by name John George alias Sunny posted the photographs of his wife on social media and wrote objectionable remarks. In the post on social media, he referred to his wife as ‘call girl’ and furnished her phone number for contacts.
Based on the complaint made by the victim, the Cyber Crime Division of Rachakonda Police arrested George. In his statement given to the police, George told that he was unhappy with the attitude of his wife. He took this step in order to take revenge from her.
