Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed in two groups resulting in skirmishes.
According to the report, ‘prasad’ was being distributed in the pindal on the occasion of durga puja which prevented the traffic flow. Some of the commuters objected to it resulting in mild tension.
Police reached the spot immediately and brought the situation under control.
ACP of Chaderghat, ACP of Sultanbazar and night duty police personnel negotiated with both the groups and pacified them.
However, some of the suspected persons belonging to both the group were taken into police custody. This incident is reported to have taken place at 10 p.m. yesterday.
