Hyderabad: Cops arrested a gang of notorious inter-state burglars involved in many cases at NGO’s Colony in Vanasthalipuram on Friday.
Addressing a press conference, Mahesh M. Bhagwat, Rachakonda police commissioner said, “All three accused were arrested when they were moving in suspicious circumstances along with a bag containing housebreaking tool kit at NGO’s Colony in Vanasthalipuram.” Cops also seized 680 grams of gold jewelry, 9 ½ of silver articles, and net cash around Rs. 10,500, one Yamaha FZ bike and two mobile phones including housebreaking tools from their possession. The total value of recovered articles is Rs.28, 12,900 lakh.
They accused were identified as Bula Nagasai (28), Manchem Srinivas (28) yrs were the residents of Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and Kancha Naresh (29) resides in Chandryangutta, Hyderabad.
While interrogation they disclosed that they had a criminal record in property offenses in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
“If they set their eyes on a target, there is a 90% chance that they steal it successfully,” Mr. Surender Reddy, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police said.
