Hyderabad: Pepsico has plans to start its largest commercial hub in Hyderabad. The company has acquired 3.8 lakh sq. feet space at IT Special Economic Zone. It has plans to employee 2500 persons.
It may be mentioned that this will be the largest unit of PepsiCo outside the US. This will cover Marketing, HR, Finance, Supply chain, Consumer Insight and other services. It will formally start at the end of this year.
Priyaranjan Jha appointed as site leader The company has already employed 200 persons with Priyaranjan Jha, former executive of Genpact as its site leader.
Mr. Jha brings rich experience of working at Genpact in various capacities for about 14 years. The last position he held in Genpact was the Senior Vice President of the company. It may be mentioned that PepsiCo had started its activities in Hyderabad in November 2017. It had promised to invest $2.1 billion till 2022. This is the first commercial center of the company in India.
