The officers in Egypt’s military have called on to its citizens to take to the streets in protest against President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi’s regime, sources reported yesterday.
Calling out to citizens, the  Egypt Officers Front that it is loyal to former chief of staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Sami Anan also said they would protect the demonstrators, MEMO reports.
The group took to Facebook and said they are willing to protect the demonstrators exactly as it previously happened during the Hosni Mubarak regime back in 2011.
Everyone interested can obtain information by contacting Dr Mahmoud Refaat as the official spokesman for Sami Anan.
Refaat approved the reports and said he would release the names of the officers who would protect demonstrators, calling them “the honourable officers of the Egyptian army.”
