Hyderabad: Monthly average GST revenue grown by 28 percent

Hyderabad: In Hyderabad city, the monthly average Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue has grown by 28 percent in the financial year 2018-19 when compared with the earlier financial year.
According to the report published in Times of India , in 2018-19, GST revenue of the entire Telangana State was 36212 crore which is 4 percent of the GST revenue collected in the entire country.
Officials of Central GST collected Rs. 18565 crore against the target of Rs. 19420 crore.
In Hyderabad, around Rs. 272 crore was recovered when the officials found the tax evasion of Rs. 458 crore. The amount was also recovered after officials found cases of fake invoices.
