Hyderabad: Objectionable slogans found on Masjid walls

Hyderabad: Mr. Osman Mohammed Khan, leader of Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee called on Chairman TS Minorities Commission, Mr. Mohammed Qamaruddin and Chairman, TS Wakf Board, Mr. Mohammed Saleem and presented two separate memoranda requesting them to protect Qutub Shahi Masjid located at Rameshwaram Banda which falls under the jurisdiction of Patancheru Mandal.
Objectionable slogans on Masjid walls In his representation, he pointed out that some miscreants painted some objectionable slogans on the walls of the masjid.
He requested the Chairman of Minorities Commission to issue instructions to Wakf Board for registering a case in the police.
Mr. Qamaruddin assured that he would take appropriate action. Mr. Osman Mohammed Khan complained that Wakf Board officials are pleading ignorance about the records of the masjid whereas, there is 13 acre valuable land registered with Wakf Board pertaining to this masjid.
