New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad(IIMA), IIM Bangalore (IIMB), Indian School of Business (ISB) has been ranked as country’s top management institutes in the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Global Full-Time MBA Rankings 2020 released on Thursday.
The IIMA ranked 40th while IIM Bangalore (IIMB) ranked 44 th in the top 50 institutes while ISB ranked 98 th in the 100 top institutes list while the American institutes dominated the rankings, HT reports.
Apart from these, IIM Calcutta, and SP Jain Institute of Management and Research has made it to the top 250 institutes The American institutes bagged seven out of the top 10 positions with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania has been ranked the top institute jointly with the Stanford Graduate School of Business while the MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Business School have been placed in the five top-ranked institutes.
“Thought leadership is ingrained in MIT culture. MIT has 78 Nobel laureates, and our faculty are exploring some of today’s most relevant and engaging initiatives,” said an MIT Sloan School of Management spokesperson speaking on the institutes performance.
As per the QS data released in the Masters in Management category, IIM Bangalore ranked the top spot among Indian institutions and was placed on the 26th spot while in the Masters in Business Analytics, IIM Calcutta was placed 368th.
