Hyderabad: The State government has relieved senior IPS officer Sandeep Shandilya from the additional charge of DG Prisons & Correctional Services. Shandilya is presently Additional DG, Railways and Road Safety.
Principal Secretary (Home) Rajiv Trivedi was given the additional charge with immediate effect. The orders were issued on Tuesday. Similarly, Ravi Gupta, IPS, Additional Director General of Police (Technical Services), has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the government (Home department) vice Rajiv Trivedi, IPS, transferred.
