Hyderabad: Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali told that the state government is very keen on taking up welfare measures for the well-being of the policemen in Telangana.
While addressing the gathering on Police Commemoration Day held at the Goshamahal police stadium here on Monday, the Home Minister said the state government had provided the police department infrastructure needed for good policing and will also fulfil all the necessary facilities in coming time.
Director General of Police (DGP), Telangana said, “A total of 292 policemen of various ranks sacrificed their lives while performing their duty across the country.” Later, the Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali along with Telangana DGP M. Mahendar Reddy placed wreaths as the Martyrs memorial and paid tributes to the policemen.
