There is a clear indication of poor financial condition prevailing throughout the country. Its effect could be seen in the preparation of budget proposals of TS.
It is reported that CM of TS Mr KCR has finalized the budget proposals in a meeting of finance department officials.
Authentic sources indicated that the Dept. of Minorities Welfare had proposed budget estimate to the tune of Rs.2212 crore but the Finance Dept. reduced it to Rs.1200 crore whereas in the year 2018-19 the budget had Rs.1988 crore.
It is reported that Dept. of Minorities Welfare requested Finance Dept. not to reduce the budget pertaining to Minorities Residential Schools and Overseas Scholarship Scheme.
Affected Work It is quite likely that the construction work pertaining to Makka Masjid, Dargah Jahangir Peeran, Aneesul Ghuraba, Islamic Centre and new buildings for Residential Schools may get affected.
Immediate Release of Funds Shaadi Mubarak is the only scheme which is under green channel. Under this channel, as soon as the applications are granted, amounts are released by Finance Dept. immediately.
