Hyderabad: The reports of enhancement in the Umrah and Hajj fee for pilgrims are unfounded, India’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Ausaf Sayeed said.
The pilgrims were paying SR 300 for the visa fee. They would continue to pay the same fee, he said.
According to a report, Dr. Ausaaf Sayeed contacted the Saudi Minister For Hajj Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Saleh bin Tahir and exchanged views on visa fees and making arrangements for the pilgrims.
