The final list of NRC was released yesterday. It includes 3.11 crore persons but excludes nearly 20 lakh people. There is a need to provide proper guidance to people to get their names included in the list.
Filing Before Tribunal: The time given for filing appeals is up to 120 days. There is no need to get disappointed. All those who failed to get their names included may now file their claims before the tribunal within the stipulated time. Even if they fail in the tribunal, they can approach HC and SC. Still there is a ray of hope.
