Old building collapses due to heavy rains in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: Continuous downpour over the past 24 resulted in an old building that collapsed early on Wednesday today in Vizag.
However, no casualties were reported in the incident. The incident occurred near the Government Victoria Hospital around 3 am following which front portion of the building was completely damaged, TOI reports .
The district collector Vinaychand has issued instructions to the revenue, municipality, Zilla Parishad and other department officials to alert the people to take precautionary measures.
