Saudi Arabia: Rise in number of working women may surprise you

Riyadh: In Saudi Arabia, the number of working women in the private and public sector increased by 282.5% in the first quarter of 2019.
According to the report published in Saudi Gazette , in 2018, the number of working women was 156000 whereas, in 2019, the number rose to 596700.
It may be mentioned that the number of economic established has decreased from 1.007 million in 2018 to 1.005 million in 2019.
Out of the total workforce of 8.67 million, 6.74 million are non-Saudis whereas 1.93 million are Saudis.
