Nizamabad: Three minor students who had left school on the pretext of attending Friday prayers were found dead floating inside a pit in Nizamabad today.
The deceased identified as Shaik Ajar, Shaik Shoaib, both class 3rd students, and Arbas Khan who studied in class IV left school for Friday prayers but never returned back prompting their parents to file missing complaint in the evening, TNIE reports .
They were studying in government Urdu medium school at Nagaram in Nizamabad. On Saturday morning, locals found one dead body lying in the water pit and informed the police.
The region police reached the spot with the fire rescue personnel and fished out all the three dead bodies.
The family members of the deceased have demanded action against the school authorities for their negligence to allow the trio to leave the school premises.
Police have registered a case and an investigation is on.
