Soon after US announced to deploy troops in Saudi Arabia and UAE, UK’s PM Boris Johnson said the UK is considering to be a part in the US-led military effort to bolster Saudi Arabia’s defences,.
Previously the UK held back from attributing blames for the September 14 attack on the Saudi Aramco plants carried out by Houthi rebels in Yemen, Al-jazeera reports .
Yemen’s Houthi is engaged in a bloody conflict with Saudi Arabia and UAE since 2015.
Despite Houthis’ claim the US and Saudi both have dismissed Houthi claim and instead hold Iran responsible for the attacks, a charge Tehran denies.
The US’s Pentagon has announced on Friday that it shall send additional US troops and missile defence equipment to Saudi Arabia and the UAE as part of a “defensive” deployment.
