UP Bypolls: NDA wins 26 out of 51 seats, Congress 12 seats

New Delhi: The saffron party and its allies bagged 26 seats of the 51 seats in the UP- by-Election 2019 conducted in 18 states.
The party had contested for 11 and won 8, but suffered major setbacks in Gujarat and Bihar while Congress won 12 seats, TOI reports .
Other parties like SP emerged out as a major gainer despite NDA retaining eight of the nine seats fighting BJP and BSP.
Whereas in Gujarat, saffron party lost three of the six seats to Congress.
