Book launched “Sefed Badlon ke Desh Mein” in New zealand

Auckland: Urdu Hindi Cultural Association of New Zealand (UHCANZ) organized the launching ceremony of the book “Sefed Badlon ke Desh Mein” which is the first collection of poetry written by three Poets living in New Zealand.
This book contains the compositions of three poets-Rohit Kumar Happy, Somnath Gupta “Deewana Raikoti” and Dinesh Bhardwaj. The secretary of the association Syed Mujeeb welcomed everyone and expressed joy at the publication of this book. He congratulated the poets on behalf of association.
He requested the editor of the book, Preeta Vyas to talk about the book and the authors. Preeta Vyas introduced the peots to the gathering as Rohit Kumar Happy, Somnath Gupta ‘Deewana Raikoti’ and Dinesh Bhardwaj. She introduced Rohit Kumar Happy as the world’s first Hindi magazine on the Internet and the editor of “Bharat Darshan”, Somnath Gupta who is retired and Dinesh Bhardwaj ji is a yoga teacher. Honourable Kanwaljeet Singh Bakshi unfolded the book as a symbol of its launching and inaugration. In his address he said that this effort is commendable and he hopes that more such poetic collections will come in which more local poets will support.
Describing this poetry collection as the first poetry collection in the history of New Zealand Hindi literature, he congratulated everyone on the publication of the book. He applauded the work of Urdu Hindi Cutlural association and promised to continue to support and promote the heritage of Indo Pak languages and culture to the next generation. Roopa Suchdeva, the president of the association thanked all the dignitaries and especially our senior citizen Bal Madan who celebrated recently his 94th Birthday. The dinner was served after the programme.
