(Abu Dhabi, UAE) Dubai: The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) will be back for its 25 th edition beginning on the 26 th of December, 2019, and will go on until the 1 st of February, 2020. The festival will be up and running for 38 days, during which retailers and malls will come together to offer great promotions and sales in order to provide residents and visitors a rewarding experience.  This edition of the DSF stands as the most remarkable and special one as it will be commemorating the launch of the Expo 2020.  Dubai Shopping Festival 2020 Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) said: “As 2020 shapes up to be a pivotal year, we are committed to fostering synergies and ensuring ongoing collaboration amongst all stakeholders and entities to consolidate and further strengthen Dubai’s position as a global retail hub.” During the course of the festival, a series of concerts will be held by Emirati and international singers. A few prominent figures from the South Asian region include, Rahat Fateh Ali khan from Pakistan who will be performing at the Coca Cola Arena on the 27 th of December, 2019, Sonu Nigam from India who will be performing at the Dubai World Trade Centre Arena on the 10 th of January, 2020, and Prateek Kuhad from India who will be performing at the Rotunda on the 24 th of January, 2020.  Dubai Shopping Festival 2020 As and when the festival progresses, the residents and visitors will witness sales up to 90% across more than 3500 retail outlets. With the success of this shopping festival, Dubai will reaffirm its continued international standing as a must visit shopping destination. Moreover, the shopping festival will enable continued growth of the retail sector which is expected to reach an estimated Dh 160.7 billion by 2021.
Furthermore, during the last three days of DSF, retailers will unveil bigger promotions and sales, giving last-minute shoppers an opportunity to pocket irresistible bargains. The shopping festival will include life changing and exotic raffles such as cars, daily and weekly cash prizes, and a grand prize of Dh 1 million up for grabs this edition.
