HYDERABAD: On Saturday Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths caught a Cyberabad sub-inspector red-handed for demanding a bribe.
According to the TOI report, the sub-inspector was identified as Ganagoni Shashidhar from Raidurgam police station. He demanded a bribe from the complainant, G Murli, a resident of Saroornagar, for handing a case and grant bail for a case which was registered under IPC Section 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others).
According to an ACB official, Shashidhar demanded Rs 4,000, and caught red-handed while accepting Rs 2,000 of the total amount.
